,The Founder Institute (FI) is the world's largest pre-seed startup accelerator. We’ve helped launch over 7,000 companies in 200+ cities globally, that have raised over $2B in venture capital funding (portfolio valuation $30B).
We are looking for a super-organized and proactive Program Intern for our New York program, that is interested in startups to join our team. You will have the opportunity to see entrepreneurship, angel investing, and venture capital from every angle, attend remote Founder Institute sessions with top entrepreneurs, and more.
The ideal candidate can thrive in a fast-moving, exciting startup environment, and is interested in building a career through this opportunity.
The Founder Institute is based in Silicon Valley, with additional team members working remotely from Europe, Brazil and Asia.
Role: NYC Program Intern
Duration: Mid-October to end of February (~10 hours per week)
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Accountability Checks: Ensure our founders are on track by performing weekly homework checks.
- Weekly Summaries: Prepare and present weekly summaries for our Managing Directors of founder progress and strengths and weaknesses
- Presentation Assistance: Aid in the preparation of pitches, demos, and other presentations.
- Operational Duties: Assist with general day-to-day tasks and other duties as they arise to ensure smooth operations.
- Event Planning: Assist with planning and organizing startup ecosystem events.

- Excellent communication skills and an ability to synthesize information.
